Daily Health Tip

Did you know that fruit is cleansing and vegetables are body building. If you go on a fruit diet for two or three days it will help clear your brain, and you will feel better and an extra bonus, you will lose some weight, at least I did.

Try to eat just two meals a day and no later than 4PM. It will give your stomach time to recuperate and be ready to break your fast. It is possible to lose weight on this type of program as long as the two meals you eat are healthy meals and not loaded with fat and starchy refined foods. Try eating a plant-based diet: fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and whole grains. You will have an adequate diet doing this.

When I was a kid, my parents bought a farm with an old farm house on it and they were papering the walls
and for glue, they mixed together white flour and water and it worked great.  Now turn that around and apply that to your insides, when you eat white flour it acts as glue in your gut and there is very little nourishment in it and your colon gets all gummed up and can't function normally.  Use whole grain flour and whole grain bread and you will be adding fiber to your diet and your colon will thank you tremendously.

Another tip an old saying, 'an apple a day keeps the doctor away'.  An apple has lots of fiber in it and if you can tolerate two apples a day it will help cleanse your colon, your need lots of fiber to keep things moving and clean.  A lot of disease starts in the colon, when it is not taken care of.

Have trouble sleeping at night?  Try eating no later than 4PM and I think you will sleep much better and not only sleep better, your body will thank you for the rest you have given it from 4PM until the next morning.
Make your biggest meal in the morning when you break your fast.  Have a good lunch and the two meals a day will be all you need, specially when we get older and are not as active.

Here's something I just heard yesterday on TV.  To have good health, you have to have good blood, and to have good blood you have to have good food and to have good food you have to eat a plant based diet, fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and grains.
Man was allowed to eat CLEAN meats after the flood because all vegetation had been destroyed but it was not the best diet for them and because of the addition of meat to their diet, their lifespan was shortened.  So try the plant based diet for a month and see if you don't feel better, no worry about protein, it has been proved that you get adequate protein on plant based foods.  Your body will thank you and so will you.  It will take a while to adjust so be fair with yourself and your health.

It's good to have some of Dr. Christopher's black salve on hand in the refrigerator in case of a poisonous spider bite or in healing a cut, it draws out the poisons and heals up nice.  My son had two recluse bites on his arm and it pulled out the poison and healed up great.  Get it at the health food store.

Drink a quart of warm water with lemon juice and a little honey first thing when you get up in the morning.  It is cleansing to the liver and helps keep your bowels moist and working.
