Are our priorities in the right order? I have found out after years of studying and searching out the things of God that we do need to have our priorities straight. Lots of people work God into their schedule of the day, just any where it is convenient. Do you think He cares where He fits into our schedule? I know He does, He wants first place in our daily schedule and when we allow Him to have that place, our day goes so much better and better yet, if we ask Him to fill us with His Spirit, it is far better yet.
Colossians 3:2 "Set your mind on things above, not on things of this earth."
Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you."
Romans 12:2 "And do not be transformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."
Proverbs 21:21 "He who follows life and mercy finds, life, righteousness and honor."
Set your mind on things above, that sounds like a priority, and seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, another priority. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind, thats how we prove what is acceptable and the perfect will of God. If we follow life and mercy finds life, righteousness and honor.
Let's set our priorities straight and put God first in our life and keep listening for His guidance and follow what He tells us to do. It is very true that when we are filled with His Spirit, we will find our directions in His word and He does speak to our hearts and guides us too, but we have to keep the path clear so we can hear His still small voice.
