The Glorified Christ - 2

The subject of 'The Glorified Christ' is a very rewarding study, a little longer but a good thing to review and establish in our hearts.

Seen at the Transfiguration

Mark 9:2,3  "And after six days Jesus takes with Him Peter, and James and John, and leads them up into a high mountain apart by themselves: and He was transfigured before them.  And His raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow, so as no fuller on earth can white them."

John 1:51  "And He said to Him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man."

Acts 9: 4,5  "And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecute thou Me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord?  And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutes:"

Revelation 1:13 - 16 "And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.  His head and His hair were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And His feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and His voice as the sound of many waters.  And He had in His right hand seven stars: and out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and His countenance was as the sun shines in His strength."

Revelation 19:11,12  "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He does judge and make war.  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew , but He Himself."

Wouldn't you just like to get a glimpse of Jesus, like those who were His followers in Bible times?
It would be so wonderful if I could just reach out and touch Him, I know I would be made well.  I know that He would bless me too.

You know, we can get a glimpse of Him through the study of His word.  So keep reading day by day and you will have some beautiful glimpses of Jesus through His word.  You can even touch Him by faith, because you know He is real and is right beside you teaching you and strengthening you by His Holy Spirit which He has promised to be with all those who love and serve Him.  Grandma Joan
