Promises to the Liberal Giver

I knew a person who was willing to rob someone of their profit, to gain for themselves more money.
Selfishness is a sin, but we will catch that one later.  I want to show you some promises for those who are willing to forgo profit gains for themselves and give to others who are in need.

Psalm 41:1  "Blessed is he that considers the poor: The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble."

Provers 3:9  "Honor the Lord with thy substance, and the first fruits of all thine increase."

Proverbs 3:10  "So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine."

Proverbs 11:25 "The liberal soul shall be made fat, and he that waters shall be watered also himself"

Isaiah 58:10  "And if thou draw out they soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday."

Luke 6:38  "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.  For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

2 Corinthians 9:7  "Every man according to the purpose in his heart, so let him give, not grudgingly, or of necessity : for God loveth a cheerful giver."

These promises are for you who love to give and I am sure that many of you have received from God these promises and could relate your experience of giving.  We should never give grudgingly or because we think we have to because God loves to have us do it cheerfully.  We need to honor the Lord with our giving, don't you think.  I am sure that we will be blessed when we consider the poor.
