Promises from the books of 2nd and 3rd John and Jude

These are short books and good instruction but not very many promises in them so I am combining them together.  Be blessed today.

2 John 1:9  "He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son."

If we abide in the doctrine of Christ we have both the Father and the Son.  How blessed we would be if we had both of them dwelling in our hearts today.  I want to abide in His doctrine, don't you?

3 John 1:2  "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health just as your soul prospers."  I want my soul to prosper, don't you?  Our health would improve dramatically, I'm sure.

3 John 1: 11  "He who does good is of God."

Jude 20-25  "But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.  And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.  Now unto Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever.  Amen."

We build ourselves up in our most Holy faith by praying in the Holy Spirit and keeping ourselves in the love of God, looking forward to God's mercy unto eternal life.  The 24th verse is especially good,
not that the others aren't good, they are the best but this one tells us that God is able to keep us from stumbling and present us faultless before the presence of  His glory with exceeding joy.  To God be the glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen

I love the fact that God is able to keep us from stumbling, King James says, falling and I am so thankful for that.  If we surrender to Him He will keep us from falling or stumbling.  That's how much He loves us and we need to love Him with all our heart because of His love to us.  Grandma Joan
